Products I've used up/empties!

I never used to be interested in these type of posts or youtube videos, I found them quite boring but I recently grown to love them! So I hope you enjoy reading this post! I am currently uploading a youtube video to match this blog post, (click here for the video) and I included a few more products in the video, and if I added them all into this post it would be a long one!

Garnier Comforting Cleansing Lotion: I find that this product is reguarly on offer in Superdrug for around £1.50 and it comes in different scents and variations to match different skin types. This is the rose one for dry skin (even though I don't have dry skin!) This is a lovely makeup remover, I don't have anything bad to say about it, I will definitely be repurchasing this when I can't afford (or be bothered to wait for the delivery) Bioderma from ebay!

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter: This is the mini one, which are the perfect size for traveling! I love love love anything coconut and I would say this is probably my favourite body moisturizer EVER. It's so thick and nourishing and smells absoloutley divine. I do have the big tub of this on the go at the mo (ryhming there I see ;) I realllly want to try the lemon scented one next!

MAC Fix+ : There is quite abit of product left because I cannot seem to use it, it just comes out as water drops instead of a spray which is quite annoying, but I have loved using this! I am not too sure whether I will buy it again, but this has lasted me like 2 years and it's just one of those things which I love having in my collection!

Topshop nail polish Big Smoke: This is probably my favourite nail varnish, it's probably more suitable for the winter time, and I will repurchase it then but it's so lovely. I love the brush and the cute bottle, I can't really describe the colour, it's like a grey/brown/purple colour and looks so so pretty on the nails! Mine is now horrible gloopy mess so I can't get anymore use of it but it's a staple in my nail polish collection.

VO5 Miracle Concentrate: I really enjoyed using this hair oil, I used it without fail after each hair washing sesh, it made my hair smell nice and it made it soo soft, oh and also made my split ends less visible! It lasted a hell of a long time and I think I am going to get a new one, as I don't think I can be without it!

Boots Coconut and Almond Bath Cream: I went through this so quickly! But it is under £2 so that's okay! It smells heavenly, but the smell didn't come out as strong in the bath (but made a mountain of bubbles), there is probably better bath cream/bubble baths out there so I don't think I will re-buy but it was quite nice!

So there we go, I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if you have done one or a video, I would love to see!

Oil free moisturizer

Thankyou so much for following my blog, I now have 17 followers! Yay!

Now the other week I was browsing the beauty counters in House of Fraser and I asked one of the ladies at Clinque if I could have a skin consultation. I have never really known what skin type I have, it's not particuarly dry or oily. However after sitting down for 10 minutes the lovely lady told me I have Combination Oily to Oily skin! I never thought I had oily skin but apparently so! So she gave me a sample of one of the oil free foundations and a generous sample of the dramatically different moisturizing gel which I have been loving!

The moisturizer I was using before was a Simple one and it did the job, but did take a while to sink in but this Clinique one sinks in literally in like 30 seconds! I don't think I can afford to get the big bottle just yet, but whilst in Superdrug the other day I purchased the Nivea oil free day cream. I have heard quite good things about this, I am yet to use it but it looks pretty good to me!

To suit my skin type I am desperatley trying to find the "perfect" foundation! I have become really aware of the bad ingredients in alot of makeup, and ideally would like an oil free foundation. I keep umming about the MAC ones but they all look too heavy and cakey, one minute I want a dewy finish and the next matte. For about a year I have been wanting to try the MAC Face and Body, but it's quite expensive and I don't have a MAC nearby that sells it to get a sample! So if there are any (preferably not high street) oil free foundations which you lovely lot would recommend then pleaseeee let me know! I am going on holiday next week, and I so can't wait to go to duty free shopping! Wooo!

Current 3 Highstreet Foundations

Hello beautifuls! Today's post is about my 3 current high street (or drugstore if you prefer!) foundations. These are the only 3 I currently own and I thought I would just share my opinions!

Rimmel London Wake Me Up: I have this in the lightest shade 100-ivory and it's an okay colour match. I think they could do with a lighter shade, but I am just speaking for my ghostly pale self! This does provide a lovely glowy finish, but I have found in some lights my face can look slightly sparkley, but I don't see this very often. It's not a major problem and I know many people have no problems with this, this is just my view after all! This isn't my favourite foundation out the three, but I still quite like it. Currently on offer in Boots for £6.99 (usually £8.99)

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation: Everyone has been raving about this foundation recently, so obviously I had to join the club! I find that if I apply to much, it goes quite streaky and funny on my skin. I can't really describe it, that just doesn't make sense, does it?! I have recently been mixing this foundation with the Rimmel one and I thin they work really well together. The finish of this is very "luminous" as it claims, and it looks very nice on the skin. £10.99 in Boots.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum: This is my favourite out of the 3, and I re-purchased this yesterday after running out of my first bottle. In the picture this one looks slightly darker and thats because I have been using the Garnier Summer Body gradual tan at the minute, and needed a slightly darker foundation. This gives SUCH a lovely finish, dewy and very healthy looking (I feel llike I am just repeating myself, haha). I also love the packaging in the slim glass bottle, and would highly recommend this foundation. £10.99 in Boots.

I have come to the conclusion that I am not very good at describing foudantions! Oh well! So here are my opinions on these highstreet foundations, let me know if you think there are any others I would like!

Wishlist #1

nice thigs

MAC Studio scult foundation: After reading Kelly's post (love her blog!) I decided I definitely want to try this foundation! I was torn between this and Studio Fix, but I am going to get this one when I go shopping next week, can't wait!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer: I am so desperate to get my hands on this! I love the packaging and really need a decent bronzer, I have heard many good things about this one!

The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Body Butter: You have seen me raving about the body shop body butters in my last post, and I would really love to try this one! I absoloutley love anything which smells lemony, I find it so lovely and refeshing!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish: I have had this cleanser before and it's much better than any other one I have tried, I really need to get this again as I loved it, but unfortunately Liz Earle isn't easy to get hold of near me and I really don't like paying delivery online, haha! But I will get it some time soon!

Essie Fiji: I have decided I am going to wear this to my school prom, it looks like such a pretty colour!

Recent Beauty Purchases!

Hello! I am currently sat writing this post with one follower, who is one of my best friends and if you do happen to stumble across my new blog then you remember I had a old blog: 95hannaah. I decided to delete that one and start again, so here we go! I am planning on reguarly posting and I am very, very excited! Today I thought I would share a few beauty products I have purchased recently!

Bioderma: I am sure every single person has seen and probably got this baby! I purchased this 500ml bottle from ebay and it cost around £13.50 (including p+p). I would really love to get my hands on the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish to use in conjunction with this, but this is all I have been using at the minute to remove my make-up. I went through a period of time using baby wipes all the time and finally ditched them and I am using Bioderma now, and I LOVE it! It removes every scrap of make-up and it does not have a scent at all, so should be good for all skin types!

Real Techiniques Core Collection: You may notice one brush missing, which is the detailer brush, but I had trouble standing it up for the picture so I had to leave it out! I literally purchased these about 2 days ago but in the time I have been using them, I love them, especially the buffing and contour brush. They are so, so soft and so handy for travelling as you get a little brush holder/stand with them! I had wanted these for so long and finally caved, I got them from Boots for around £22!

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter: There is not really much to say about this product, apart from I LOVE IT!! The body shop body butters are by the best body moisturisers in my opinion. They are so nourishing and smell fricking amazzzzing! They are quite pricey at £12 but last ages, and you can also get mini sizes of each scent, for around £5!

Benefit Porefessional (sample size): I recently picked up this with Glamour magazine for £2 (which I believe is still on sale!) There were 2 other samples aswell, including the mascara and the That Gal primer. I literally searched in like 10 shops for That Gal, but didnt end up finding it :( So I settled for this, I tried this once before and I am pretty sure it made my face slightly dry, but have been using it again and I dont think its that great. Some people say its a staple in their makeup collection but for me I just dont see great results!

The Body Shop Face Brush: I have heard quite a few people on youtube mention this £3 mini brush recently, and picked it up. I havent actually used it yet, but apparently its really good at removin dry/flaky skin around the nose!

So thats all I have to say today, sorry it was a bit rambly! I really am looking forward to getting into blogging again, I really enjoy reading blogs, its one of my fave things to do! :)

Lots of love,
Hannah xxx
